I love statistics, so the Dashboard on this blog is just priceless to me. My God, there is a bar graph! Love it!
Then right beneath that is one funny little feature I just love: top searches! I’ve decided to look a little further into these and post pictures of the things, if applicable. I’m keeping it light, folks. It’s Saturday.

ondřej pavelec, why did tuukka rask wear a helmet during the parade, chara walking off duck boat, duck boat caron kelley, seguin on duck boat
Let us begin with Ondrej Pavelec. I am so happy to see him first! He is my favorite player of all time and one immensely talented goaltender (career record four shutouts this season, including a nationally-televised one against the Rangers, plus two shutouts during the Worlds that helped get the Czech team the bronze). I’ve spilled a lot of virtual ink on here about him, but I can’t sing his praises enough.
Since he’s not a free agent for 2011-12, I guess we’ll see him in the Winnipeg sweater in the fall unless he swings something with his agent or the hockey gods feel like having some sort of miraculous mercy on me. That is going to cause me a lot of angst. They can’t love him like I can up there, simply put.
Moving right along.
“why did tuukka rask wear a helmet during the parade”
Because he’s really worried about his noggin, that’s why. Actually, I have no idea, but it was really amusing. Maybe Nathan Horton asked him to–it’s his helmet, after all.

I wonder if he knows that he has some sort of fuzzy creature growing on his upper lip. (I say this from a place of love.)
“chara walking off duck boat”
Ah, yes, Zdeno Chara taking the Stanley Cup off his duck boat and ferrying it to another one, letting some folks with outstretched arms graze the undoubtedly blazing hot cup as he went by them. It was a nice gesture.
“duck boat caron kelley”
Caron Kelley was on the Longfellow Bridget, a black duck boat, with teammates Chris Kelly and Tyler Seguin. Not only is that an awesome boat name, that’s a pretty good lineup of riders.
“seguin on duck boat”
He’s in that photo there. Oh, well, you can’t see him too well, can you?
I think I may make this a regular thing. This was fun!
