Emma and I became aware of Taiwan’s Apple Daily through watching Keith Olbermann back in the days before he was canned from MSNBC (and subsequently canned from Current…hey, does TBS want to start a new ‘hard news’ show?). Their animated versions of current events are hilarious, but this new video takes the cake.
For those Blackhawks fans who think a suspension of any kind for Raffi Torres isn’t enough, just watch.
I especially like the Pens player (presumably Arron Asham) turning into an actual penguin while beating on a Flyers player.
Check out how Brendan Shanahan appears on the ice and delivers his suspensions like they judge figure skating at the Olympics. Imagine if he did that in real life–he’d be rained upon with boos like when Gary Bettman shows up somewhere!
