Hockey holiday videos Part 1

The holiday season means all kinds of greetings pop up on YouTube, from the White House to, as Anna showed me last night, Duran Duran’s Simon LeBon. Hockey is not exempt from this, as the following videos prove.

The first one is from the Belfast Giants in Ireland (you may recall the Top Gear clip I posted that featured them). I’m not a fan of the song, but any team that can do this just improves it.

The second one is the San Jose Sharks’ take on QVC. Logan Couture’s deadpan comment about his mom is hilarious, and I find myself coveting Jamie McGinn’s princess dress.

Then there’s this one from my Chicago Blackhawks. Warning: you may experience secondhand embarrassment for them and the fanbase. But I still laugh when I see it. Is it wrong that I wish that the CD was real?

I know Emma has a few from the Bruins that she’ll post later. I’ve seen them and can assure you that you’ll like them!
