Bruins game 61 wrapup

Ottawa Senators at Boston Bruins

1-0, Senators

Goals: Erik Karlsson (Ottawa)

Goalies: Robin Lehner (32/32, 1.000%), Tim Thomas (37/38, .974%)

Writeups: Yahoo and Rant

The Ugly:

Pretty much everything.

Five shutouts in a single month is the most in the entire history of the team.

It’d be nice if we could all just forget that much of this month and its 5-7-1 record ever existed. (January, when some of these worrisome things began, at least had an 8-5-0 record.)

March is going to be a big one. There is the distinct possibility that, if nothing changes, the team will just barely make it into the playoffs or suffer an early exit. I know they’re better than this weaksauce they’ve been serving us lately. Now when will they remember they’re better than the weaksauce?

Next Game:

vs. New Jersey Devils

March 1

I don’t even know what to expect anymore.
